Logan Child Removes Wart With Beetle Juice

This patient was younger and the parents and Dr. James were concerned about tolerability of the treatment. After evaluation Dr. Travis James DO discussed the treatments with the parents and they elected to treat with cantharone, which is a derivative of a blistering beetle. A small amount of liquid is placed on each wart which is painless and then washed off a couple hours later, at which time a blister forms removing a portion of the wart. This before and after was with 2 treatment sessions.
